Description
The TNC connector is a medium-power connector with a threaded connection mechanism, with a maximum operating frequency of up to 11GHz. It has the characteristics of strong earthquake resistance, high reliability, and excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Connectors are divided into male and female connectors, and K represents male and J represents female. TNC connectors usually use stainless steel Stainless Steel or copper alloy Copper Alloys as surface treatment and nickel plating, the inner conductor uses beryllium bronze CuBe and gold plating Au, and the insulating medium uses polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE. The diameter of the conductor pin inside the TNC male J is 1.32mm-1.37mm. The connection thread size adopts American standards 7/16-28 UNEF-2B and 7/16-28 UNEF-2A, which represent UNEF internal and external threads with a diameter of approximately 11.11 mm and a pitch of approximately 0.91 mm. Commonly used TNC models include: TNC-JFD, TNC-JJ, TNC-KFD, TNC-50JR, TNC-KFB2, etc.
This connector is based on the structure and electrical properties of BNC. TNC can be used in a higher load environment than BNC. The threaded connection brings space for optimizing the size of the interface, ensuring performance reliability even in high-vibration environments. The connector interface complies with MIL-STD-348B and GJB 5246-2004 standards.
