Description
The SSMA connector is a 50 ohm nut-type connector. The SSMA connector maintains the same structure of the SMA but reduces the overall size. The maximum operating frequency reaches 30GHz. Connectors are divided into male and female connectors, and K represents male and J represents female. SSMA connectors usually use stainless steel Stainless Steel or copper alloy Copper Alloys as surface treatment and nickel plating, the inner conductor uses beryllium bronze CuBe and gold plating Au, and the insulating medium uses polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE. The diameter of the conductor pin inside the SSMA male J is 0.5mm-0.53mm. The threaded interface adopts the specifications of American standards 190-36 UNS-2B and 190-36 UNS-2A. Commonly used SSMA models include: SSMA-KFKG, SSMA-JW3506, SSMA-KFDG, etc.
Due to its smaller size, SSMA is suitable for smaller cables, and it also comes in various forms such as panel mounting and printed circuit board (PCB) mounting. Higher density installations can be achieved using SSMA. The connector interface complies with MIL-STD-348B and GJB 5246-2004 standards.
