Description
SMA connectors are highly durable, mechanically stable and have long service life combined with low VSWR. Mainly used for detachable RF signal connections in microwave system transmission systems including filters, attenuators, mixers and oscillators. Connectors are divided into male and female connectors, and K represents male and J represents female. SMA connectors usually use stainless steel Stainless Steel or copper alloy Copper Alloys surface treatment with nickel plating, the inner conductor uses beryllium bronze CuBe gold plating Au, and the insulating medium uses polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE. The diameter of the conductor pin inside the male head is 0.9mm-0.94mm. Commonly used SMA models include, SMA-KFKG, SMA-JR50, SMA-KYD, SMA-JFD, etc.
The SMA has a threaded external connection that has a hexagonal shape that can be screwed to the correct seal with a special torque wrench, allowing a good connection without over-tightening. The connector interface complies with MIL-STD-348B and GJB 5246-2004 standards.
