Description
The 1.85mm connector operates at a frequency of up to 67GHz, and the connector interface is compatible with 2.4mm connectors and uses air as the dielectric. Connectors are divided into male and female connectors, and K represents male and J represents female. The 1.85mm connector usually has a shell made of Stainless Steel, an inner conductor made of beryllium bronze CuBe gold-plated Au, and the insulating medium usually uses polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE. The pin diameter of the inner conductor of the male K of the 1.85mm connector is 0.506mm-0.516mm. The diameter of the J female jack is 0.7996mm-0.8076mm. Commonly used 1.85mm connector models include: 1.85-J360G, 1.85-JR50G, 1.85-JFD01G, 1.85-1.85-JJ, 1.85-KFK, etc.
In order to maximize strength and increase durability, the 1.85mm connector selects the most appropriate coupling interface diameter and thread size. To account for possible inner conductor wear during installation, the enclosures are coupled before the inner conductors are joined. The 1.85mm connector interface complies with IEEE 287 standard.
